Having worked my entire career outside of my native country of Canada, including 13 years in Japan, 9 in Hong Kong and 2 in the US, I bring a global perspective to my coaching engagements. Prior to becoming a coach, I was a Partner at a Big 4 consultancy in Hong Kong and have worked for Deloitte, KPMG and IBM during my pre-coaching career in senior leadership positions. I bring this 'hands-on' leadership experience to each coaching interaction as well. I specialize in coaching clients who are asking themselves the following questions: How to... 1. Lead effectively in an uncertain world 2. Lead change through uncharted territory 3. Be successful as a new leader 4. Become a people leader and not just be ‘technical’ 5. Become more aligned, more balanced, and more fulfilled I take a 'whole person' view to my coaching, so I will not only coach the person and their job title or role, but also consider non-work related elements to help them accelerate development across all aspects of their lives.

About me

I strongly believe in the positive impact that great leadership can have on our planet. I wants everyone to unlock their leadership potential in a way that is aligned with their purpose and values. It is this belief that led me to executive and leadership coaching. In shifting from consulting to coaching, I now focus on transforming individuals and organizational cultures.

Coaching method / approach

I take a standard approach with each of my coaching clients which I then tailor to specific needs or styles. The standard approach has 5 steps: 1. Align outcomes: What do you expect to get out of coaching? 2. Benchmark & explore: Where are you now and where do you want to be? 3. Design: How will you get there? 4. Implement & close: How does it feel to have arrived at your destination? 5. Embed: How does life look 6-12 months on? I place an unparalleled emphasis on ROI. Typically, I measure results based on ROE (return on expectations), ‘Stickiness’ (how well the coaching outcomes become habits) and Wellness Scores. We review at either 6 or 12 months after completing the coaching program to ensure that coaching outcomes are an enduring part of the leader’s way of being. If they have slipped, I offer a no-cost make-up session to put things back on track.
