With your express permission, we explore hypnotic states and altered states of problem-solving outside the realms of rational thinking.
Developmental - Short Series - Life Coaching, Leadership Coaching, Career Coaching
Purpose Session + 5 Sessions: In this short series a first session will be dedicated to defining the coaching clients purpose (life and/or business purpose) followed by five developmental coaching sessions to deal with challenges and opportunities that present itself to the client. These sessions are expected to be completed over a maximum of six months.

Purpose Session + 11 Sessions: In this short series a first session will be dedicated to defining the coaching clients purpose (life and/or business purpose) followed by eleven developmental coaching sessions to deal with challenges and opportunities that present itself to the client. These sessions are expected to be completed over a maximum of twelve months.

Francois Coetzee is an experienced and coach having worked in and with teams across all layers of enterprises, from front-line workers to senior leaders in the executive suite. He is particularly effective working with founders of start-ups and leaders that are motivated, hard-working and ambitious enough to take their next step to greatness through an approach of finding and defining their purpose and using creativity, creative problem solving and decision-making to pursue and achieve personal and business goals in innovative ways. He has a track record working virtually with leaders in the UK, EU, Canada and the USA.
I am an experienced coach having worked with individuals and teams across all layers of enterprises, from front-line workers to senior leaders in the executive suite and start-up founders. It is my passion to help people find their personal and leadership purpose and build a life and career filled with abundance.
Coaching method / approach
My coaching approach is focused on finding and defining a purpose and the use of creativity, creative problem solving and decision-making to pursue and achieve personal and business goals in innovative ways. Each coaching session is built around engaging in a conversation based problem-solving process which has a clear structure of engagement, setting the coaching session outcome, divergent thinking to create possibilities, convergent thinking to select potential solutions, commitment to an action plan and closing the session. We do this by: Preparation: It is the responsibility of the coaching client to prepare for the coaching session by: a. Summarizing the progress that has been made on the actions agreed on since the last coaching session. b. Preparation for other tasks that was agreed on with the coach, or from the coaching framework guideline. c. Preparation for a core theme to be discussed in the upcoming coaching session and thinking about goals to be achieved in terms of the core theme. d. Practicing the COACH State – This technique will be taught in the first session and it helps the coaching client to be fully present in the moment Coaching Session a. Opening: A catch up in general terms of the current state of the coaching client. This is a good time to share news on what has happened since the last coaching call and the progress that has been made in terms of the work that was agreed. This is also a good time to ask any questions about the coaching process for the day or past coaching sessions. If necessary, a small exercise on being present will be done. The coaching client will set their intention for the coaching session. b. Contracting: The coach and coaching client will agree on the outcome to be achieved in the session. c. Exploration: The coach and coaching client will explore the outcome to be achieved using a creative problem-solving approach to understand the outcome properly and then to create possibilities and options that may be actioned for work in the period following the coaching session. d. Actioning: From the discussion, a small number of action points (typically three actions, but there may be more) will be agreed upon for execution over the period before the next coaching session. e. Insights: Before the session is closed the coaching client will be given the opportunity to share insights and learnings from the coaching session. f. Closing: The session will be closed with a summary overview and reinforcement of positive states necessary for outcome achievement beyond the session. Post Coaching a. The coaching client will create their own notes on the session. A guideline is provided in the coaching notebook. b. A summary of the outcome, actions to be undertaken must be emailed to the coach as soon as possible after the session. c. The coaching client will work on the agreed actions
