    About me

    About me

    I became a coach after a successful career of 17 years as a corporate lawyer, half of which at management and senior management positions. My legal career gave me a lot, but during the last few years I increasingly felt there was something else I ought to be doing. After a period of intense personal changes, challenges and setbacks, my career priorities shifted significantly. Through my own experiences, I realized that when you’re going through a period with a lot of struggles, pulling yourself out of it alone is not the best way forward. I became interested in pursuing something more meaningful and personally rewarding. What drives me now as a coach is helping others take shortcuts and find solutions to personal and professional challenges faster and easier. I am a coach because I love exploring what makes us human beings tick and thrive. I enjoy helping others find their own answers to these questions. And I find fulfilment in seeing my clients grow and build more joyful lives that are led by conscious choices rather than by circumstances.

    Coaching method / approach

    I am a kind, down to earth and solutions oriented coach. I have a critical mind and I am not afraid to challenge easy answers. My approach to coaching is based on neuroscience research and combines elements from the Intentional Change Theory, Emotional Intelligence studies, Narrative Coaching and Positive Psychology. Throughout the coaching process I will: • make it a priority to get to know you well • provide a confidential setting for you to talk, explore, dream and be yourself • tailor the coaching process according to your needs and preferences • ask a lot of questions • listen deeply to what you say and to what you don’t • challenge your answers and actions • provide feedback and reflect what I see and hear from you • ask of you to take assessments and do your homework • help you brainstorm • share experience and suggest readings and resources, relevant to your coaching journey • support you and be there for you while you learn, change and grow.
