About Me

About myself & my experience

Colleen has partnered with leaders and organizations for over 25 years to support transformational shifts to high performing organizations through brain-based leadership development and professional coaching. She inspires individuals and engages the whole system to embrace change, capitalize on opportunity, and leverage talent for future sustainability. Through her own journey as a leader and executive, Colleen gained a wealth of experience and knowledge that inspired her to support others to; understand their strengths and leverage them; how to develop their potential; create the path to achieve their goals, dreams and desires. As a Mentor with the Canadian Centre for Advanced Leadership, Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary, Colleen shares her knowledge and experiences to support students in their growth and development, but more importantly, she learns from her mentees! Her raison d’être is to partner with leaders, organizations, and individuals to maximize human capacity and organizational capabilities to support and advance human and business capital.

My coaching method & approach

From the initial meeting, I look to see how I may partner with and support you in your coaching journey. The basis of a successful coaching engagement begins with your readiness and level of commitment to achieve your aspirations, goals and desires. As a Professional, ICF credentialed coach I adhere to a professional code of ethics and standards. Utilizing leading-edge neuroscience research and techniques in brain-based coaching and behavioural psychology, I support my clients with a unique approach that: -uses a whole person approach that focuses on the individual (leader) and the impacts that the leader has on the organization (systems). -by focusing on the leader and creating awareness and understanding of who the leader is and the influence(s) that the leader has on other s (ie: teams, cohorts, co-workers) and the organization (ie: culture, systems) . -providing leader with the skills and capabilities based in proven neuroscience and psychology research to develop relationships built on trust and transparency primarily based in Conversational Intelligence® and Narrative Coaching® -Leaders more effectively, develop and apply leadership skills through step-by-step Conversational Intelligence® processes that support theoretical learning and experiential applications. -Leaders quickly to achieve business and leadership development goals by implementing simple, understandable, and practical tools within the first session of coaching. -Coaching and learning are developed in incremental learning and practice modules. -Success measurements are co-created with the client in order that they may determine what is most important to them. Multiple Return on Investment metrics can be leveraged.
