My Coaching Speciality

I am a holistic nutritionist who combines nutrition science, modern psychology and ancient wisdom to help women achieve their health and wellness goals. My traditional education (Bachelors in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Kansas State) allows me to understand and evaluate the competing nutritional theories out there and determine what approach will work best for each client. In addition, 8 years of coaching experience has taught the importance of looking not just at diet, but at several "pillar of health" that overlap and are all critical to good health. If we work together, you can expect a tailored health and wellness plan that is comprehensive, science based, gets results, and is sustainable.

In addition to individual coaching, I enjoy working with women who have children and the added challenge of not only needing to feed themselves well, but a family. Having a busy schedule and children of my own, I know exactly what the busy mom is faced with and have ample experience coaching women in this stage of life. With smart planning and the right skills, it truly is possible to put a healthy dinner on the table every night and to raise kids that are good eaters.

If you struggle with food cravings, weight issues, and/or find it challenging to support and motivate your whole family to eat well, I would love to hear from you. We will be embarking on a wellness journey together, which will require trust, commitment, and an open relationship. About me

About myself & my experience

Hi there! My name is Allison and I am an American nutritionist living with my family in the Netherlands. One of my greatest passions is helping others to live a healthy and balanced life through delicious, real food, and sustainable lifestyle change. As a mother of two young children, I am particularly interested in working with moms and/or mom's to be, that could use support in eating well, finding balance, and raising healthy and well-nourished kids.

Though I have a traditional degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and a deep respect for nutrition science, my approach is much more holistic than your typical dietitian. Eight years of coaching experience has made it clear that food is just one of several pillars that support a healthy mind and body. Having worked with clients in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and America, I fully appreciate that an individual approach to developing a health plan is critical. For this reason, I always tailor my counseling, accounting for history, personal preferences, time constraints, and health goals.

My coaching method & approach

My main goal in working with you is to determine what food and nutrients are required for YOUR body to function at it’s absolute best and to translate that into an achievable action oriented plan. We will start out our sessions with a full health and metabolic assessment so that I can better understand your body type and the challenges that you face. Moving forward, my counseling aims to provide you with essential knowledge and skills through one-on-one counseling sessions, personalized meal plans, recipes, and other lifestyle tools. Every client can expect a program that is specifically tailored to her needs and personal constitution, as everyone's path to health and wellness is unique. Believe me, your body wants to be healthy! It just needs the right inputs to help it along the way.
