About myself & my experience
I am an International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over thirty years of experience an higher education and business. Coaching and mentoring are ways for me to give back to others who aspire to advance their education and/or work in and even become leaders in information technology, education and creative professions. My background is visual design and communication and I pride myself in helping my clients use design thinking and other innovative methods to identify, meet and exceed their professional and personal goals. My coaching method & approach
I follow the ICF protocol of beginning a session with mutual agreement on the topic to be discussed, exploring the topic through a combination of guided inquiry and design thinking methods and concluding with accountability- what are the takeaways and what am I and my client responsible for completing prior to the next session. Yes, there is often homework! I also provide mentoring services including review of career dossier materials, interview preparation and how to negotiate a job offer. I am available between sessions for email exchanges and I often will research topics and provide my clients with carefully curated and relevant resources.Notes / Remarks
