Meeting Notes & Remarks

Most of my coaching is a mix of video or telephone calls and mail. Face to face coaching is an option. You are welcome at my office in Hilversum and I coach in public places (within 30 minutes travel distance from Hilversum) if they offer enough privacy to have a proper conversation.

In today's complex society, honest and attentive communication is more important than ever. Together with my clients I explore what meaning they give to their work and lives and how they want to express what is important to them.
My approach in training and coaching is a positive and practical one. By combining my strong analytical skills with intuition and humor I create a fertile ground for development.

Besides training and mentoring coaches, my assignments vary from designing and coaching for leadership programmes (in company, Executive-MBA) to coaching people in change and transition processes.

About me

About myself & my experience

As an anthropologist I look at leadership and change issues from a holistic perspective. An important theme in my work is inclusiveness: a way of working and living that includes everyone's unique contribution.
I have experience in the corporate world as a manager, coach and trainer and have been a board member of a non-profit organization.

My coaching method & approach

I am inspired by eastern and western psychology and the focus in my work is (personal) leadership development. My approach is values based, thus using my clients' potential to evoke the change they want.

By using a combination of face tot face sessions, telephone and video calls, and e-mail contact my coaching is optimally embedded in my clients life and context. Although I use a variety of methodologies, the most effective coaching can sometimes be just a single question or a few minutes of silence on a busy day.

Notes / Remarks

The coaching fees are VAT excluded. In my opinion coaching should be available for everyone who is interested. If needed I can offer a sliding scale fee.
