I am a certified Integral® Coach with a CfD qualification, working towards the further qualification of the PCC. As a coach, I have worked with individuals in the education and university sectors, the business and NGO sectors and creative professionals. My coaching method & approach
As a coach, I rely on the integral model to help clients build new capabilities and sustainable competencies that will assist them in becoming their best selves, and live to thrive and flourish. I have come to appreciate the integral method as an exceptionally powerful and comprehensive modality that honours a client's skills and potential across a range of domains, from cognitive, emotional and somatic, through to relational and spiritual. -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.-.-.- -.- . I remain inspired by the words of Rainer Maria Rilke, encouraging his young aspiring poet friend, to "[b]e patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue." This is sage advice for an impatient age. As Rilke writes, "the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer." I am a seasoned supervisor of doctoral studies and an experienced mentor of emerging scholars. Having spent more than two decades embracing the progressive theory of human flourishing in my legal academic work on property and natural resources, I have become convinced that these resources can only be properly managed if the world's other valuable resource - it's people - can be appropriately empowered to live self-directed and socially responsible lives.Testimonials
