My past careers include activities from Naval Flight Officer to British Coast Guard pilot to Managing Director of a subsidiary of a large multinational company to full-time coaching.

One of the critical aspects of working with a large multinational has been the fast pace of change and the perplexities that can come with it. Bearing witness to this confusion, I became enthusiastic about the idea of supporting people amidst transitions, changes, challenges, confusion, uncertainty, and crisis.

It is not new that organizations have to adapt to changing circumstances, but what is new is the pace of the cycle of adjustment. For some, this cycle is now continuous, and the necessity to adapt has become the norm. The uncertainty that can come with change can take its toll on people as they try to harness stability within their environments to safeguard their future. Most of us are in permanent transition, whether it be the transition of our roles, our companies, cultures, or within our personal lives.

About myself & my experience

I recently moved to Oslo after leaving my corporate life to pursue my passion for coaching as well as continue my doctorate. I presently work as a coach privately and for the INSEAD.

I am a French native speaker and worked abroad using English as a second language for quite a few years. I am a beginner in Norwegian.

My coaching method & approach

My diverse experiences in life have given me valuable insight into embracing change, how to take ownership, and how to accept uncertainty with a new sense of optimism. Over the years, I have learned different ways of connecting with people, how to be empathetic and compassionate, and, most importantly, how to listen to their narrative. Not only do I listen to the account, but I also hear the person as a whole. I work to create a safe space where individuals can feel free to share and reflect without feeling pushed or judged.

Within this safe space, the environment is set to establish trust, which in turn allows furthering awareness. The increased clarity will support the identification of what is in the way and holding clients back from what they want to achieve and who they want to be.

As we are all unique individuals, outcomes are specific to each person. As an Integral Coach®, I endeavor to assist my clients in achieving their personal goals as well as to achieve long-term excellence supported by self-correction and self-generation. By focusing on development and working with various self-observation exercises and practices, we will embed new behaviors and fresh ways of thinking to allow your alignment to unfold.

In short, I will do everything I can to make myself redundant as soon as possible.

Notes / Remarks

In the frame of my doctorate degree, I have been studying the impact of virtual connectivity on the coaching relationship. I am now delivering part of this study in workshops to professional coaches to increase awareness and reduce assumptions around this practice.
