Minimum Requirements For Coaches

By joining koach.net you become a member of a high caliber community of fellow professionals. We ensure these standards of excellence by asking all coaches to meet minimum qualifications and requirements relevant to their specific field of coaching. By putting these criteria in place, we support your credibility and reputation, and allow the relationships with your koach.net clients to begin on a solid foundation of trust.

In vetting our coaches, we consider three factors: certification, experience, and methodology. This mix varies according to the type of coaching in which you specialize.

Joining Guidelines

Coaching for individuals

REQUIRED: A valid ACC or higher certification from the International Coach Federation or equivalent. For health coaching, a relevant valid certification, including proof of graduation from a health or sport education program.

If you are working towards obtaining ACC accreditation or higher and need the coaching hours necessary to complete your accreditation, you can be listed on our platform. Your profile can be published for a period of 12 months as "Working Towards Accreditation". Once you obtain ACC or higher accreditation by ICF, your profile can be published permanently. Your fees cannot exceed €25 per hour until ACC or higher accreditation is obtained.

Coaching for business

REQUIRED: A valid PCC or higher certification from the International Coach Federation or equivalent.

All coaches must be KYC validated

KYC stands for “Know Your Customer” and entails a verification process of our coaches. This process is part of European anti-money laundering regulation, known as AML, which is mandatory for European institutions transferring funds globally, such as Koach.net, to make sure that money transacting through their system is clean.

On this page you will find required KYC documents by business type and by country.

To comply with the European privacy regulations and GDPR mandates, no documents or information submitted during the KYC validation process are kept or stored on our platform.

Important! At the moment, we are able to accept coaches only from specific countries. The list of these countries is available in our terms & conditions.

Continuation Guidelines

Continued koach.net membership requires that the coach meets the minimum client review and compliance requirements:

• A coach must remain above the minimum average review rating by clients.
• A coach must not breach the Koach.net privacy policy and terms & conditions.
